Byju Raveendran Discredits Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), Deeming it Invalid and ‘a Farce’.
In a recent statement, Byju Raveendran declared the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held yesterday as a complete breach of essential regulations. He stressed that any decisions made during the meeting are null and void due to the blatant disregard for established protocols. Raveendran emphasized the importance of recognizing the specific irregularities that render the EGM invalid.
Addressing discrepancies within the meeting, Raveendran refuted claims of unanimous resolution passage by a minority shareholder group. He highlighted that only 35 out of 170 shareholders, constituting approximately 45% of shareholding, voted in favor of the resolution. This, according to Raveendran, demonstrates the negligible support garnered by what he deemed an ‘irrelevant’ gathering.
