Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn was allotted 1 lakh shares at Rs 274 each, amounting to a total investment of Rs 2.74 crore. By the end of trading on March 4, his investment had tripled to Rs 9.95 crore.
The market capitalization of Panorama Studios International, a multibagger stock, stands at Rs 1,200 crore. The stock has surged three-fold since January and eight times in the last year. On March 5, it was trading at Rs 1,030 on the BSE, up 3.43 percent from the previous close.
Devgn’s partnership with Panorama Studios and its producer Kumar Mangat Pathak has yielded successful films like Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, Raid, and Drishyam. He recently collaborated with Humble Motion Pictures and Reliance Industries (JIO Studios) for three Punjabi films, including Carry On Jettiye, Ardaas 3, and Manje Bistre 3.
Panorama Studios, in collaboration with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films, is set to produce the Hollywood remake of the successful Drishyam franchise. Chairman Kumar Mangat Pathak envisions producing Drishyam in 10 countries over the next three to five years, underscoring his strong partnership with actor Ajay Devgn, both as a producer and talent manager.
