United Breweries witnessed a surge in its stock price early on March 11, following the launch of a new beer brand in Karnataka.
At 9:28 am, United Breweries was trading at Rs 1,703.55 on the BSE, marking an increase of Rs 6.20 or 0.37 percent.
The company introduced Kingfisher Ultra Max draught beer in its premium strong beer category in Karnataka, following its successful launch in Punjab and Chandigarh, according to United Breweries.

On February 29, United Breweries unveiled its latest offering, London Pilsner, setting a new standard for Pilsner beer in Karnataka.
This announcement comes on the heels of the company’s robust financial performance, with a consolidated net profit of Rs 85.34 crore for the December quarter of FY24, a significant turnaround from the loss of Rs 1.97 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
Moreover, United Breweries recorded a 12.28 percent increase in total revenue, reaching Rs 4,154.98 crore, reflecting its sustained growth trajectory.
