Noida Police made a significant breakthrough on Sunday, arresting YouTuber Elvish Yadav in connection with a startling case involving the provision of snake venom at a suspected rave party he allegedly organized. Yadav, aged 26, has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody following his arrest.
The accusations stem from an event purportedly held at a banquet hall in Noida’s Sector 51 on November 3 last year, where forensic reports later confirmed the presence of snake venom in collected samples. Yadav, along with six others, faces charges under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and IPC Section 120A for criminal conspiracy.
Despite prior questioning, authorities had refrained from arresting Yadav, known also for his stint as a former Bigg Boss contestant. However, with this recent development, the case has taken a significant turn, drawing attention to the alleged involvement of prominent personalities in illicit activities.
In a startling twist to the case, investigators revealed that they had rescued nine snakes, including five cobras, from the possession of Elvish Yadav on November 3. However, examinations unveiled a troubling discovery: all nine snakes had their venom glands missing. Furthermore, police confiscated 20 ml of snake venom during the operation.
Elvish Yadav vehemently denied the accusations, dismissing them as “baseless, fake, and not even 1 per cent true.” Despite his assertions, multiple reports have surfaced suggesting the illicit use of snake venom as a recreational drug.
This revelation adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing investigation, prompting questions about the motives behind the possession of snakes and snake venom. As authorities delve deeper into the matter, the case continues to captivate public attention with its enigmatic nature.
The controversy surrounding YouTuber Elvish Yadav continues to escalate as a People For Animals (PFA) official, who initially flagged the snake venom rave party, filed another complaint against him last week. The official alleges receiving threats from Yadav, further adding to the legal woes of the embattled content creator.
In addition to this, Yadav finds himself embroiled in another case concerning a music video featuring him, where a rare species of snake was allegedly used. The legal ramifications of this incident remain unclear as investigations unfold.
Adding to his legal troubles, police have charged Elvish Yadav and several others for assaulting a Delhi-based content creator in Noida on March 9. A purported video capturing the alleged assault has gone viral on social media platforms. The complainant accuses Yadav of attempting to break his spine and threatening to take his life, intensifying the gravity of the charges against him.
As the legal proceedings unfold and public scrutiny mounts, Elvish Yadav finds himself ensnared in a web of allegations and controversies, casting a shadow over his once-thriving online presence. Stay tuned for further updates as developments in these cases continue to unfold.
