RailTel Corporation Sees 2% Stock Increase After Securing ₹36.35 Crore Order

RailTel Corporation of India’s shares demonstrated a promising start on March 26, gaining 2% in the opening trade session, propelled by the news of the company securing a significant work order valued at Rs 36.35 crore.

In its official statement, the company revealed that it had clinched a work order from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. The order entails the procurement of VMWare virtualization licenses accompanied by three years of support services, amounting to Rs 36,35,99,985, inclusive of taxes. The contract is slated for execution by July 19, 2024.

Additionally, recognizing the company’s expertise, an order totaling Rs 130.60 crore has been awarded for the supply of teaching and learning material catering to students from Class I to V.

In another significant development, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has chosen the company to spearhead a crucial initiative. This entails the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of a Health Management Information System (HMIS) for the Health Department of BMC. The project, valued at a staggering Rs 351,95,23,654 (Excluding GST), underscores the company’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions in the healthcare sector.

Furthermore, the company has expanded its footprint in Odisha with a substantial project from the Odisha Computer Application Centre. This initiative involves the establishment of an IP-MPLS Network Connectivity in Odisha under OdishaNet Phase 1.0, amounting to Rs 113.46 crore.
