Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, asserted that there have been no defections among AAP MLAs. Kejriwal clarified, ‘Two MLAs are currently incarcerated, while others may be experiencing health issues or are out of town.
Delhi’s Chief Minister emphasized that his government holds a majority in the House but deemed it necessary to introduce the motion of confidence due to alleged attempts by the BJP to lure party MLAs and destabilize his administration. Kejriwal accused the BJP of engaging in such tactics, citing reports from PTI that several MLAs had disclosed being contacted and enticed with monetary offers by individuals associated with the BJP.
